Journeys
Choose one of the topics below, or suggest another topic to me that you
find more interesting.
- Cut up your
list of 50 lifetime goals into separate goals, and organize them into
categories (physical, emotional, spiritual, material, etc.). What
does this organized list reflect about your values? Be sure to
use specific goals as
examples to illustrate your values.
- Choose one of your goals, and
answer the following questions about it:
- Why is it
important to you?
- What
strengths, talents, qualities, gifts do you possess that will help you
to achieve this goal?
- What
obstacles stand in the way of achieving your goal?
- What work
must you do to achieve your goal?
- How will you
know when you have accomplished your goal?
- What will
achieving this goal add to your life? How will your life change
once you have met this goal?
- Think of a time
when you set and achieved a goal that was important to you.
Answer the following questions about this experience:
- How did you
reach your goal?
- How did your
life change as a result of meeting this goal?
- Which did you
enjoy more: working toward the goal or finally achieving it?

when you failed to achieve a goal that was important to you.
Answer the following questions about this experience:
- What did you
do right?
- What did you
do wrong?
