Photos from the National Storytelling
Festival
Jonesborough, Tennessee
October 2001
The annual National Storytelling Festival held
in Tennessee's oldest town, Jonesborough, during the first weekend of each
October is the nation's premiere storytelling event. Tellers and
listeners gather from all over the world for a beautiful autumn weekend
of non-stop story.
Here are some photos from the 2001 festival:

Every historic town has its courthouse.
Is this picturesque, or what?!
This is the gazebo where ghost stories are told after dark.
A little creek runs past it, catching the red light
so that the water seems to run with blood.
Here's my older daughter Lindsay
wearing her teenager face. ;-)

one of my all-time-favorite quilt shops.
