Unique Features of Arizona's Past  

An examination of the Constitution of the State of Arizona.
 

Course Competencies:

• Describe the major geographical features and historic periods of Arizona

• Describe the structure of Arizona's legislative districts
• Explain how a bill becomes law
• List the executive officers and their specific powers
• Describe Arizona's courts and their interaction
• Explain the major components of county and municipal governments
• List the major characteristics of tribal government and its relationship to state and federal  government
