A Message from Dr. Pan
I am thrilled to finally be on campus. I accept the privilege of being MCC's 6th president with much humility and a great sense of honor.
MCC is one of the leading community colleges in the nation. As we move forward, I believe we must remain true and steadfast to those core values and commitments that have - and will - continue to define this outstanding institution.
- Student success - we will at all times put students’ needs and interests above all things, providing them with the best possible learning experiences.
- Community success - MCC must honor its roots and carry forward the collaborative relationships we have with the communities we serve.
- Employee success - we will create a satisfying and exciting environment where MCC employees can do their best work.
President John F. Kennedy said: “Hold fast to the best of the past and move fast to the best of the future.” As I start my presidency, I look forward to getting to know many of you and listening to your ideas and suggestions on how we can shape MCC’s future together.
