Dreamweaver Site Setup & Downloadable Sample Files
If you are a fearless individual who isn't afraid of a little html code - you may want to use Dreamweaver to interact directly with the server.
To do that you will need access to the desired web folder. Email EWS at webhelp@mcmail.maricopa.edu requesting access to the desired folder (we need the URL of the website). Be sure to include your department manager or chair on this email.
EWS then requests TSS to submit a helpdesk request to the Server Team in ITS. Once EWS receives confirmation that the access has been granted we will notify you and your chair/manager that you may begin editing the website.
If you require help in creating your website, please contact the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL).
Now you need to set up Dreamweaver correctly so you can get started.
*You will need the Dreamweaver application/program installed to begin this process.*
Download Dreamweaver site - this will download a zip file so be sure to unzip it. You can rename this folder to what suits your needs. Be sure you do not have spaces in the name. Within this folder is a sample of each of the templates we use on the MCC website, the necessary include files, as well as sample image files.
