RSS feeds

An RSS feed is a format for delivering news and the content of news-like sites, directly to your website or a webpage.

But RSS Feeds are not just for news. Pretty much anything that can be broken down into discrete items (bullet points) can be delivered via RSS.

The MCC Homepage, the Athletics Homepage and Service Learning Homepage all have RSS feeds to highlight news, events, and issues that may impact their specific audiences.

RSS Feeds are controlled by the Department or Office to which they belong so you will be in charge of the daily or weekly updates to keep your contact fresh and lively. This can be just what you need to alert students to a new scholarship, remind of a deadline, or announce a special concert or event.

If an RSS feed seems like something you can use to keep your department, staff, students, or community at large in touch with what's happening, please complete the online Request for Help form.
