Sasha, a student in Kathleen Davis Introduction to Education (EDU 221)
class, had this to say about her service-learning experience:
"To me there is no better way to learn than by doing. I have enjoyed my
service learning experience so far.I have a lot of experience working
with children, but now I have more of an idea of what I should be
teaching them and better ways to do it. I have especially enjoyed
learning how to teach math because math has always been very difficult
for me and I want to do the best I can in teaching my future students. I
have already learned and used many things that will be of benefit for my
students and I in my future class. Service learning is great!"
