Online Orientation:

What is the analytical paper?

Once you have completed your hours, you must write an analytical paper. This is essentially a summary of your journaling - a review of your progress and all that you have learned. Ideally, your paper should have three parts:

First, an objective description of your experience at the site.

Next, write an evaluation of your learning and growth.

Finally, include an integration of how this course has affected your thoughts and ideas and your future goals. A detailed outline can be found in your Student Guide. Further, discuss this requirement with your faculty advisor to make sure you know the details they will grade you on.

Once you have completed your hours at the site, you will need to complete the program evaluation and return it to The Center for Service-Learning .
