A native of Denver, Colorado, JOHN MULHERN has resided in Arizona for the past 30 years. He was a three - sport athlete at McClintock High School and majored in Business at Mesa Community College before
graduating with a degree in Corporate Finance from Arizona State University in 1984. He coached
basketball at the club, high school and college level for 15 years and was assistant volleyball coach at MCC
in 2005. Prior to joining the MCC athletic administrative staff in 2003, he was a general contractor on
commercial projects and real estate developer. Additionally, he is a member of the MCC Adjunct Faculty in
the Exercise Science Department.
