Team Divisions
The high school divisions are based on the athletes’ year in school.

Note that it is the responsibility of the high school coaching staff, not the meet management, to notify the athletes as to which race to report to.

Scoring High School

  1. The best 3 out of 4 scores from each division combined will determine the team champions.
    1. A minimum of three (3) runners per division will be considered a scoring squad.
    2. In each division, the first three (3) runners on a squad will score with the next two (2) being displacers.
    3. Example: Lowest possible score in a division will be 6 points, therefore, the lowest possible team score will be 18 points
    4. Ties in the meet for the purpose of determining a team champion shall be broken by comparing the place finish of each squad member 1-3 versus their respective competitor on the opposing squad of the same division (Squad A’s first finisher vs. Squad B’s first finisher, etc.). The championship goes to the team winning the majority of the comparisons
  2. Athletes may run in the division that coincides with their year in school. If space is available, teams may run athletes in higher class divisions, but may not compete in lower ones.
  3. Each runner will receive a finish card in the chute. Coaches should take these cards and turn them into the scorer's table after you tally your scores. This will be used for backup purposes only.

Awards High School

  • For each division race, we will present medals to the first ten (10) individuals.
  • For each Senior Division race, we will present medals and a t-shirt to the first ten (10) individuals.
  • Trophies to the top two (2) girls teams and the top two (2) boys teams.

Scoring Collegiate/Open
Standard cross country scoring will be used. First five (5) individuals on a team will score with the next two (2) displacing.
