Alumni Relations

Volunteers Needed

Volunteer:

Board of Directors:

The Mesa Community College Alumni Association (MCCAA) is overseen by a 21-person volunteer board representing alumni from each decade that MCC has been in service. The board serves in an advisory capacity, working closely with the Office of Alumni Relations to carry out the MCCAA’s mission. Board members are appointed to three-year terms and meet quarterly.

Go to the Alumni Board page.

Internship:

Register your place of business as an internship site and reap the benefits of helping to train and educate MCC students while meeting your business goals. Visit Career Services at http://www.mc.maricopa.edu/students/career/internships.html to learn more!

Shadow Day:

Job shadowing can take many forms, but typically it encompasses a half-day visit by a student to a place of work. The alumni host provides an overview of their career path as well as information about their employer and professional associations. Alumni who are not in the Phoenix area will be contacted by the student via phone, e-mail, or letter. To volunteer to have a student shadow you please submit the Shadow Day Form.

Mentoring Program:

The alumni association’s scholarship program requires that each scholarship recipient work with an alumni mentor. To volunteer to mentor a student please submit the Mentor a Scholarship Recipient Form.
