In this past year I have worked extremely hard to maintain an excellent stading in my classes while maintaining my responsibilities at work. I have truly come to know what it means to work hard for a goal and have learned that anything worth having, is worth the hard work it takes to achieve it.

All we need is a little encouragement from individuals like yourselves; business owners, engineers, mathematicians, etc., and we will be on our way in our career and you will inspire us to follow in your footsteps.

I am a single mother working full time and attending classes in the evening. I have come a long way to get to where I'm at today and can definitely say I am here because of education. I know that education is the key to unlock any door.

All scholarships are financially administered by the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation , a 501 (c) 3 organization that receives and manages gifts from private donors to all the Maricopa Colleges. A volunteer board of community, business and civic leaders manages the Foundation's assets. Annual audits from the Foundation are available for review.
