Sample course assignment schedule (set up for 2 sessions per week-Tuesday/Thursday). Feel free to use/adjust as needed. (You can save the file, then edit -- add your name, make changes, etc.) Note: If you place it in the same directory as the syllabus sample (above), you'll already have the textbook graphics. Don't forget to request a CIS105 Development Course (through MCC Portal - My Tools)

You should download this file locally, then upload it to your development course. Be sure to select "keep current student list" option when you restore the backup.

You will need to change the home page information to your name and upload your syllabus, your course schedule, any other assignments you may want to add. (All of the suggested assignments on the left are included and linked in the course template.) You can delete anything you don't need. The dropbox dates are currently set for Tues/Thur sample calendar, so you may need to change the dates (time is set for 11 p.m. each day with one week "late" grace period). The gradebook may have some columns you won't need as well (you can just delete them.)

If you decide to use WebCT's course email (suggested), then you will need to add it to the course.

Don't forget to backup your course once you have the changes made.

The CTL staff are very knowledgeable about WebCT and should be able to answer your questions. CIS105 specific questions should be directed to Deb Weberg
