Beginning in Fall 2005, Mesa Community College and Koning Willem I College in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands embarked on a partnership to offer the Mesa Community College Organizational Management Associate of Applied Science degree
and/or Certificate of Completion with a Specialization in International Business to students at Koning Willem I College.
Students and faculty from both colleges
are engaging in an international collaboration which will include faculty exchange, student exchange, and articulation of coursework.
In Fall 2005, a faculty member from the MCC Business Department visited the Netherlands to teach at Koning Willem I College. In October, two faculty members from the School for the Future at Koning Willem I College
visited Business faculty and assisted with classes at Mesa Community College for two weeks. In May 2006, two MCC Business faculty members
visited the Netherlands for a two week faculty exchange
to teach at Koning Willem I College.
In the fall of 2006
Disney College was added to the partnership. Students from both Mesa
Community College in Mesa, Arizona and students from Koning Willem I
College will take classes and participate in internships at Disney
College in Orlando, Florida earning college credits from Mesa Community
College.
