Mesa Community College is continuously recruiting part-time faculty to instruct in a variety of disciplines throughout the college. The Business Administration Department accepts applications for the following disciplines:

(ACC) Accounting	(BPC) Business-Personal Computers
(CIS) Computer Information Systems    CIS Includes Programming Languages    and Networking Technologies	(GBS) General Business    and Business Law
(IBS) International Business	(MGT) Management
(MKT) Marketing	(OAS) Office Automation Systems
(REA) Real Estate	(TQM) Total Quality Management

The minimum requirement to teach an occupational discipline in the Maricopa Community College District is an Associate's degree or at least sixty-four semester hours from an accredited college or university with at least five years of directly related occupational experience and skill in the field to be taught, or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least three years of directly related occupational experience and skill in the field to be taught, or a Master's degree with at least twenty-four semester hours of upper division and/or graduate credit in the field to be taught.

The rate of pay for adjunct faculty for Academic year 2005-2006 is $744.00 per load-hour. In general, the load hours of a course are the same as the credit hours of the course. Courses that have a lab hour associated with them are an exception to this general rule. For an adjunct faculty member who teaches a three load-hour course would be paid $2232.00 ($744.00 x 3.0). Pay is prorated and paid biweekly through the semester. Adjunct faculty are hired on a course-by-course, semester-by-semester basis.
