The Business Department offers two scholarships,
Edward H. Snider Memorial Scholarship and
Business Department Scholarship.
The scholarships are funded by faculty, staff, retirees, and alumni
of the Business Department at Mesa Community College (MCC), as well as by private businesses and corporations.
The funds available allows the Business Department to award about four $250.00 scholarships each school year.
Awards may only be used for expenses related to MCC enrollment, such as tuition, fees, and textbooks. General Requirements: Applicants must have completed 12 credit hours at MCC, maintained a 2.5 GPA, and be majoring in an MCC Business Department program, which includes general Business, Computer Information Systems, Web Technology, and other areas. See the application for complete details. The Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) Reader may need to be downloaded and installed before being able to open the application. Other MCC Scholarships: Mesa Community College uses an online application process to select students for many other scholarships. Applications are scored by an on-site scholarship committee made up of faculty and staff. The online application is available once a year usually between January and March. Scholarship Donors: Mesa Community College provides education and opportunities to thousands of individuals in our community. For many people in our community, financial limitations keep higher education just beyond reach. Your contribution to the scholarship fund may help cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, or related expenses like childcare and transportation.
