Camelia Tsosie and Dave Fosburg are two of the many student workers in the
Business Department Multi-Use Lab (MUL). The MUL is located in the BA building and provides
computer access to MCC Business students six days a week. Both Camelia and Dave are regarded
by dozens of Business students as excellent lab resources and willing assistants.
Camelia, a supervisor on the day shift, is studying Computer Information Systems. She hopes to
complete her Associates degree in Business and her CIS degree this school year. She has been
studying at MCC for five years.
Camelia came to Mesa from Window Rock High School in Fort Defiance, located in northeast Arizona.
She loves to play and watch tennis as much as possible. Camelia likes the wide selection of courses
available at MCC and appreciates how easy it is to get around campus. Someday she hopes to work
for a large computer company – either that or just continue to be a tennis junkie!
Dave is a morning Lab Assistant in the MUL. He opens the lab every morning at 7:00 am. Now in
his sixth year at MCC, Dave has already graduated with a CIS Programming degree and a Transfer
degree. He says his claim to fame is his “above average” debugging skills.
Dave is currently enrolled in the Computer Information Systems program at Arizona State
University. At the same time, he is pursuing a Web Design certification here at MCC. Dave
is past president of the MCC Web Club.
Dave is a Mesa native. He enjoys the small class sizes at MCC and the “friendly, knowledgeable staff”.
Someday, Dave hopes to come back to MCC and teach classes.
