Michael Harwell is our new Computer Lab Technician in the Business Department’s Multi-Use Lab (MUL).
He comes to us from the Foreign Language Lab here at Mesa Community College.
Michael is skilled at supporting people and computers and is knowledgeable in hardware,
software, networking and integration – in short, he makes everything work together for our faculty,
staff and students. He works the busy evening and Saturday shift.
A Colorado native, Michael is in his third year working at MCC. His prior work experiences include Cooler Works, Inc. and Maly & Associates. Michael holds several AA degrees including one in Accounting and another in Business Management. He also earned the prestigious title of Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA).
Michael loves helping others prepare for the future. He especially enjoys working at the Multi-Use Lab where he can be creative and innovative with technology and with teaching and learning.
In his spare time, Michael volunteers for the Boy Scouts, and he is a licensed realtor on the side. The most interesting place he has ever been is Yellowstone National Park. Michael and his wife of 23 years, Dianna, make their home in Mesa. They have two sons, Joshua (16) and Benjamin (7).
