Often lost in
our search for "civilization"we find only what we want to find
- our bias interferes with our ability to determine reality. The story of
Zimbabwe in southern Africa is truly a case study in that. For decades,
people could not accept the fact that it was Africans who constructed such
a great stone city. Yet, it was an African Kingdom that emerged here in
southern Africa (see map) some nine hundred years ago.
