How to be a CONNECTOR Volunteer?

Sign Up Now

Sign up for a Service Learning class at MCC:

  • Register for a 3 credit, service learning class in your academic interest area
  • Attend 24 hours of comprehensive training
  • You need to be CPR certified before the end of your training.
  • You MUST attend ALL THREE training sessions.
  • * Perform 126 hours of service at the fire department

    *Complete required academic work


Traditional Volunteer Assignment

  • Register with Mesa Fire Department

  • Attend 24 hours of comprehensive training
  • You need to be CPR certified before the end of your training.
  • You MUST attend ALL THREE training sessions

Orientation Session

If you are interested in becoming a Connector, you are encouraged to attend a program orientation session to find out more. These orientation sessions will provide you with an overview of the program and give you an opportunity to ask questions.

The selection process includes an oral interview. Interviews will be scheduled at Orientation sessions. If you are not able to attend a session, you will be contacted by phone when your application is received and an interview appointment will be offered.
