What is an EMT-Basic?
What is an EMT-Paramedic?

Mesa Community College offers EMT-Basic training (EMT104) every semester, including summer. The EMT-Basic program is a 16-week long (8 credit) course. Registration for EMT-Basic (EMT104) is limited to students who have successfully completed the application process and met all manadotory prerequisites. Applications are available at the Downtown Center and Williams Education Center Fire Science/EMT offices. A downloadable packet is available below.

Mesa Community College, in partnership with Life Safety Solutions, LLC, will offer an EMT-Paramedic training program beginning in April 2009. Look for recruitment and testing to begin in January 2009. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
