New Words: a reading of creative works
Come join us in celebrating Alberto Ríos' new creative work. He will read from his upcoming book publications, including the recently named 2009 OneBookAZ winner. An informal Q&A, book signing, and conversation will follow the event, which is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Alberto Ríos, born in Nogales, AZ, is the author of nine books of poetry, three collections of short stories, and a memoir about growing up on the border called Capirotada. National Book Award finalist and recipient of the Western Literature Association Distinguished Achievement Award, Ríos has an extensive record of public art and outreach and has taught at Arizona State University for 25 years.
