- ENG 222: British Literature: Romantics to the Present

- HUM 107: Humanities through the Arts: British Culture

Includes:
Round-trip airfare from Phoenix to London, ground transportation from London to Nottingham and return, housing, weekly excursions to selected major historic/literary sites, use of New College Nottingham facilities, including computer lab and library.
Estimated cost:
The estimated cost for SAB is $3600. Tuition and food are not included in this price.
Housing:
Participants will be housed in Student Residential Housing in Nottingham within walking distance of New College Nottingham. Housing units include kitchens, private bedrooms, laundry facilities, and electronic security.
Excursion Sites:
Major excursions are scheduled for Fridays and will include:
- Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare Country)
- London
- York
Other, optional visits may be made to such sites as:
- Sherwood Forest, made famous through the tales of Robin Hood
- Chatsworth (and a myriad of other grand stately homes, many used as backdrops for Hollywood films—Chatsworth was featured in Pride and Prejudice recently!)
- Hadrian’s Wall (built by the Romans during their occupation of the island)
- The Lake District (lakes, mountains, stunning vistas—and beloved home of Wordsworth and Coleridge)
