World Languages Lab

The World Languages Lab is open to all students enrolled in a World Languages Course.

Resources include:

  • 35 computers in a quite and comfortable atmosphere where you can work on language assignments
  • Language-specific software and other materials for you to practice your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • An ASL production lab where you can film your projects
  • Friendly and knowledgeable Lab Technicians who can answer your technical questions
  • Placement testing for Spanish and French
  • Walk-in technical assistance for all language students

Ask your instructor for more information about the resources available in your language, or stop in to see for yourself. Students must present an MCC photo ID (or Driver's license for placement testing).

Lab Location & Hours:

At Southern & Dobson , the World Languages Lab is located in building AS, room 110 (east of the library).

Open Lab hours are 7:00am- 8:00pm Monday through Thursday, 7:00am-4:00pm on Fridays, and 9:00am until 1:00pm on Saturdays. The lab is closed during finals week for online testing. Campus is closed on Sundays and Holidays. Summer hours are 8:00am - 8:00pm Monday through Thursday.
