What can I do with this degree?
The AAS in Culinary Studies is designed to educate and prepare students who wish to become professional chefs and cooks, focusing on theoretical and practical skills in the foodservice workplace. You may pursue an opportunity as a chef, baker, food service manager, caterer, or entrepreneur.

You may work in recipe and menu development, food preparation and service, purchasing, or management and supervision of foodservice operations.
Who should enroll?
Whether you are pursuing a career in the food and hospitality industry, a professional wishing to expand job skills, or a foodie wishing to pursue serious cooking classes, you are welcome to enroll in classes at MCC! Classes are offered independently; you can take one class or a full schedule, whatever works with your career goals and interests. All classes require basic knife skills and some have pre-requisites so contact the Culinary Studies program director for an individual advising appointment.
