Bio213 – Biosafety

The laboratory is inherently a potentially dangerous place … Safety in biotechnology, as in all science laboratories, lies squarely on the shoulders of our laboratory technicians. This course includes a discussion of general laboratory safety, hazardous chemical & bio-hazardous material use and disposal, biosafety procedures, and radiation safety.  The student will complete the American Red Cross certified CPR training as part of this course.
