All faculty and students of the MCC Math/Computer Science department can obtain a copy of certain Microsoft products to use on their own computers for FREE!

If you have received an e-mail with the subject line,

Registration for MSDN Academic Alliance: Online Software System

you will find an assigned user name and password.  This is used to log on to ELMS (E-academy Licensing Management System).  This is the software distribution website.

The following is a step by step tutorial to access the free software. If you have problems with dowloading or installing software, contact ELMS Technical Support.

Step 2:  Select the software you want to install.

For example, if you chose Windows XP Professional, you would see this:

You will notice 3 different ways of obtaining this software.  Select the method you want click the "Get It!" button.  Follow the directions to complete the process. 

If you choose CD Check-Out, complete the reservation process.  Disks can be picked up the disks at the Math/Computer Science Department Office in the MC building during regular office hours.
