All faculty and students of the MCC Math/Computer Science department
can obtain a copy of certain Microsoft products to use on their own
computers for FREE! If you have received an e-mail with the subject line, Registration for MSDN Academic Alliance: Online
Software System you will find an assigned user name and password. This is used
to log on to ELMS (E-academy Licensing Management System). This
is the software distribution
website. The following is a step by step tutorial to access the free
software. If you have problems with dowloading or installing software, contact ELMS Technical Support.
For example, if you chose Windows XP
Professional, you would see this: You
will notice 3 different ways of obtaining this software. Select
the method you want click the "Get It!" button. Follow the
directions to complete the process. If you choose CD Check-Out, complete the reservation process.
Disks can be picked up the disks at the Math/Computer Science
Department Office in the MC building during regular office hours.
