The Music Department at Mesa Community College values music as a form of self expression and offers course work and perforamnce opportunities to help students develop their talents and skills.

We recognize the link music offers with other cultures and eras (past and future). Through a broadlay based offering of courses and experiences, we offer opportunities for the transfer of degree/certificate seeking students as well as the non-major students who which to explore the world of music.

Those chosing to major in music often pursue careers as professional musicians, educators, music merchandisers, members of the recording industry or private instructors.
