Music Business
Music Business Program
The MCC Music Department has developed an innovative 2-year track curriculum designed to prepare highly qualified individuals for careers in today’s music industry.
This program is designed for both the performing artist, as well as the business student with limited performing experience. This is a terminal degree program, which also provides transferability options to many 4-year programs across the nation.
The MCC Music Business program offers students the opportunity to obtain knowledge within the classroom setting; gain technical skills through written assignments, business plan design, and presentations; experience real-world situations through production and administration of actual performing arts projects; and ultimately foster an aesthetic and creative understanding of performance as both an art and a profession.
