Fall 2006

This fall we start a different kind of series. Four events attempt to imagine our way into a different era -- it is a truism that people in the past were just as intellectually capable as we are, but what did a person 6000 years ago actually think? Who did she talk to? What did he know about the world outside his own area?

We will try that for four different moments of human history.
