Recreation (REC) courses at Mesa Community College are offered to prepare students for successful employment in the Recreation industry. The curriculum at Mesa Community College also prepares student to successfully transfer to ASU (downtown) Recreation program or to other Recreation Programs at other 4 year institutions.

These courses provide student with the fundamental knowledge of recreation/leisure and quality of life, recreation/leisure delivery systems, programming of recreation/leisure services, recreational leadership, outdoor adventure skills and field experience. (Check PED prefix for Recreation physical activities such as hiking, backpacking, etc.)

Mesa Community College offers a Recreational Management Certificate or/ an AAS degree in Recreation Management.
