Health Science courses at Mesa Community college provide greater knowledge and insights into health behaviors that create an optimal lifestyle and techniques that can be used to change or modify health behaviors. Courses explore topics such as stress management, substance abuse behaviors, nutrition, exercise and fitness, chronic illness, women's health issues, first aid and CPR and athletic injuries, to mention a few.

Classes are available through a variety of delivery formats: traditional face to face instruction, on line instruction, hybrid (combination of on line and face to face instruction)

  • HES 154 - First Aid/Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

  • HES 271 - Prevention and Treatment of Athletic Injuries
  • HES 273 - Advanced Wrapping and Taping Techniques
