Exercise Science
Lifetime Fitness Centers at Southern and Dobson & Red Mountain
Take advantage of highly trained and certified Personal Trainers or Strength and Conditioning Coaches, certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to work with you to create your own personal exercise program at no additional cost, other than registering for the class.
Facilities:
Fitness Center (S&D and RM)
Experience cybex, and free motion weight machines, circuit lifting, along with a wide variety of cardio equipment, recumbent bikes, pre-core ellipticals, treadmills and upright bikes, stair climbers and step mills and Personal Training certified staff to assist and help you with your fitness goals.

Hours of availability at Southern & Dobson campus:
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 5:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Tuesday/Thursday - 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday – 7 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday - 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Hours of availability at Red Mountain campus:
- Monday - Thursday - 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., 4 – 8 p.m.
- Friday - 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Saturday - 9 a.m. – noon
Group Activity Center (S&D and RM)
Experience a variety of classes held in group exercise setting focusing on cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition. All staff are all highly trained teaching professionals.

Health Improvement Center (S&D only)
)Experience free weights, power lifting platforms, free motion and cybex weight equipment, with access to precore cycles, tread mills and step mill, supervised by strength and conditioning certified staff to assist you in your strength and conditioning goals. •
