Associate of Applied Science (AAS) two year degree programs:

  • Strength, Nutrition and Personal Training Degree
  • Organizational Management with an emphasis in Fitness Center Management Degree, in collaboration with the Business department
  • Recreation Management

Certificates:

Certificates of Completion (CCL):

  • Strength and Conditioning and Personal Training Certification
  • Group Fitness Instructor Certification
  • Nutrition for Fitness and Wellness Professionals Certificate, in collaboration with the Nutrition department.
  • Recreation Management Certification

Arizona Department of Education Coaching Certification:

    • Mesa Community College provides all the courses required to complete the Arizona Dept. of Education Coaching Certification.

Transfer:

Seamless transferability to ASU (Tempe) or ASU (Polytechnic) in the field of:

  • Kinesiology (ASU- Tempe)
  • Exercise and Wellness (ASU – Polytechnic)
  • Exercise Science (ASU – Polytechnic)

Through an Associate in Transfer Partnerships (ATP’s):

    • ATP – ASU (Tempe) – Kinesiology
    • ATP – ASU (Polytechnic) – Exercise and Wellness
    • ATP – ASU (Polytechnic) – Secondary Education – Exercise Science

Transferability to any 4 year institution through and Associate of Arts (AA) degree with and emphasis in Exercise and Wellness:

  • AA with an emphasis in Exercise and Wellness
  • AA with an emphasis in Kinesiology
  • AA with an emphasis in Physical Education/Secondary Education
  • AA with an emphasis in Health Promotion
  • AA with an emphasis in Athletic Training
