The Planetarium at MCC

Physical Science exterior

MCC's Planetarium opened in August 2008 as part of the new Physical Science building at the Southern & Dobson campus.

Our 53-seat Planetarium is used for astronomy classes at MCC, but it is also available to K-12 school groups or public groups of any age interested in astronomy.

Contact Dr. Kevin Healy to arrange a visit: email and phone are available at the bottom of this page.

We are also open to the public! Our Astronomy Nights are (usually) on the first Friday of the month and include planetarium shows and telescope viewing.

Please visit the following pages for more information on the MCC Planetarium:

See our calendar below for events. More information is available by clicking on an item.
