Pearl Harbor

Economic and political issues seemed to be the most influential factors leading to the attack on Pearl Harbor. For example, it is believed that Japan attacked the Naval Base in Hawaii due to U.S. stopping the export of any technical information in regards to aviation fuel and oil. Some suggests that personal attributes were also at play. These types of motives are often the reasons behind large scale attacks like those leading to World War II and the War on Terror.
