Following the events of September 11, 2001, nearly all Americans and most people around the world began reevaluating the meaning of a hero. That day made the world stop and realize that there are heroes among us. Everyday there are people who risk their lives to save strangers. They include firefighters, policemen and women, emergency medical personnel and everyday people who stumble upon the scene of an accident. In light of the September 11, 2001 tragedies, our hereos have changed to include those who on a daily basis risk their lives for the lives of others. The stories of these heroes in action, those on the scene the day America and the world will never forget, are real and touching. This site is a tribute to them, our heros.
