Daycare for toddlers and infants is a largely debated topic, yet a growing necessity among families. There has been a rise in the need for day care for many reasons.
One is the need for two incomes and/or the rise in dual career families.
Another is the increase in single parents.
Also, many women are choosing to work rather than to stay at home.
Interestingly, the reason a mother works and her attitude about working is a major contributor in whether childcare will hinder or benefit the child.
As an alternative to a parent staying home, families are resulting to daycare or nannies as a form of care for thier children. Parents often wonder which is better for their family daycare or live-in nannies.
