What attracts people to each other?
People like to be around people who have their same interests, they are also interested in being and dating people at their own level of attractiveness. When polled some students who attend Arizona State University and asked what are the first qualities they look from in a potential mate, both men and women agreed that looks and attitude are the most important. However more men than women said that physical appearence is very important. More women than men said that sense of humor is what they look for in a mate. People nowadays are meeting each other at dance club, social events, schools, work or bars. Even though people meet a lot of diffent individuals at these places most are attracted to those with common interest, same level of education, same social level, and attractiveness.
The hottest way to meet people is via internet. This new technology has chat rooms in where people are getting to know each other. People like meeting over the internet because they can be themselves without fear of rjection. This leaves both parties to deciede whether of not they want to meet. Looks may not be important in this type of dating because if they do deciede to meet, personality made have won that heart over...

1. A person can never smile enough- allow yourself to express positive vibes and relax by smiling when it feels right.
2. Its not what you have but what you do with it- everybody is attracted to engery and charm.
3. Be in control of your choice in dating partners- people who you are compatible with. In a good match both partners are interested in pleasing each other.
4. Give your partner credit for thier thoughts- it will ensure that you are interested in their topic of conversation.
5. Be on time- no one ever likes to wait.
6. Make careful plans and follow through with them- make reservations at a restaurant or buy tickets to a show in advance.
7. Dress for the occassion-communication on activity and proper dress wear is important, if possible.
8. Be aware of current subjects and interest of popular culture- this is important because then you will have a subject of conversation. (ie. learn clean jokes, know who is "hip" in music, know about politics or current world issues)
9. Have manners- open doors, always say please and thank you.
10. Always be aware that there might not be a 2nd date, so make your first impression memorable.
