Associate of Applied Science in Judicial Studies (A.A.S.)

 Judicial Studies

The A.A.S. and Certificate of Completion in Judicial Studies provides the student with knowledge and skills of the court system and its operation. It offers a specialized course of study which emphasizes the court structure, law, and other related areas related to the judiciary.

For those already employed in the court, this program will enhance existing skills and broaden the court employee’s perspective of the court system. JUD courses qualify for continuing education hours and are approved by the Arizona Supreme Court for COJET credit.

Benefits of this Program of Study

  • Development of specialized skills and knowledge of the court.

  • Expand opportunities for promotion, lateral transfer, and/or career expansion for those who already work in the court system.

  • JUD courses approved for COJET (continuing education) hours.

  • Flexibility in learning since this Certificate is offered as a distance learning (on-line) option.
