MISSION and GOALS STATEMENTS

 

A.           Mission/Vision

The Administration of Justice Studies Program at Mesa Community College will provide education and training opportunities to a diverse student population for the purposes of general interest, personal growth, job transfer and  career pursuit in the criminal justice system and related areas.

 

B.           Goals

1.   Provide students with a broad based understanding of both theory and application as it relates to justice studies.

2.   Provide quality instruction in conventional and alternative delivery methods that address the diverse student population and changing field of criminal justice.

3.   Promote working partnerships and outreach with the community for the purpose of training and education.

4.   Work cooperatively with employers and practitioners in preparing individuals for employment in the criminal justice field and related areas.
