Scholarships

Mesa Community College Talent Award:

Basis:  Financial Need & G.P.A of 2.5

Qualifications:  
• Arizona Resident,
• High School graduate or G.E.D,
• Working toward a program of study
• Contracted to work 50 service hours for the Theatre Arts & Film Department

Drama Scholarship:
Basis:  Open to all students working in all areas of Theatre production

Qualifications:
• Minimum G.P.A of 2.5
• Contract to work 50 service hours in the Theatre Arts & Film Department support areas
• Participation through out the school year/ Theatre season, such as auditioning, etc.

Charles Evans Acting/ Stage Door Players Award

Basis:  Best performer in supporting or lead role in Theatre production

Qualifications:
• 3.0 G.P.A, letter of intent,
• participation in Stage Door Players organization and the Theatre Arts & Film Department actives through out the school year/ Theatre season,
• enrollment no less than 6 credit hours.
• Contract to work 50 service hours in the Theatre Arts & Film Department support areas,
• participation through out the school year/ Theatre season, such as auditioning, etc.

Lyn Dutson & Jon Valpey Technical Theatre Award: (Ron Hill Endowment)

Basis:  Artistry in Design and Technical excellence.  *Preference given to Technical Theatre majors, however if there is not a Technical Theatre student eligible other Theatre students may apply.

Qualifications: 
• 3.0 G.P.A. and 12 credit hours completed including a theatre related course
• Letter of intent
• Contract to work 50 service hours in Technical Theatre areas in addition to lab or class time commitments
• Participation through out the school year/ Theatre season, such as working crew or designing for a production, etc.
• Maintain regular enrollment status
