Welcome!

The Music Humanities and Theory program focuses on the study of the principles of sound manipulation as applied to the creation of Music Education, and the techniques of creating and arranging Music Education. Includes instruction in aural theory, melody, counterpoint, complex harmony, modulation, chromatics, improvisation, progressions, Music Educational writing, instrumentation, orchestration, electronic and computer applications, studies of specific Music Educational styles, and development of original creative ability.

We are located in building MU 43 adjacent to parking lot C - on the east side of the Southern & Dobson Campus. See a campus map here.

Spring & Fall:
Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Summer:
Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Closed Friday
