Nursing Refresher
Welcome to the Registered Nurse Refresher Program
Mesa Community College offers a Registered Nurse Refresher program on the internet. The program consists of two sequential courses that are approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing for licensure in the state of Arizona only. The program may be completed in as little as six months.
Eligible candidates must meet the following program requirements:
- Practiced nursing as an RN after passing the NCLEX-RN
- Practiced nursing as an RN within the last 15 years
- License is not under stipulation by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
- Previous experience in specialty area (pediatrics, obstetrics, or psychiatric), if specialty area is chosen for clinical experience
