International Education
Welcome
The mission of the International Education (IE) Office is to foster global understanding by providing support services and programming that enhance the international efforts of Mesa Community College. The IE Office offers services for international students and scholars, works with Education Abroad programs, provides cross-cultural training, and serves as a resource for campus international and intercultural initiatives.
International Students Welcome to Mesa Community College and Arizona!
Mesa Community College (MCC) offers international students superior academic opportunities, unique cultural experiences, and a friendly campus environment. Students enrolling here are able to complete the first two years of an undergraduate bachelor's degree program in a setting dedicated to quality teaching.
Our students receive individual attention from instructors while using advanced technology - all at a cost significantly less than larger four-year institutions. Also, MCC is fully accredited and maintains a close working relationship with all of the major state-supported universities in Arizona, making transfers to those larger institutions easy and convenient.
We are pleased to have you as a member of our over 200 international students who study with us each year. Please be sure to join the International Student Association to make friends, find study partners, and learn more about your new home.
Our office is ready to assist you in maintaining your F-1 visa status and help you succeed in reaching your educational goals. Each semester we host an New F-1 Student Orientation to help you adjust to your new school, country and community. Keep in mind, however, that it is your personal responsibility to understand and comply with all regulations. Please review all the offered materials to familiarize yourself with the various aspects of studying and living in the United States and do not hesitate to ask any question you may have. We are here to help.
Education AbroadOur education abroad programs are an exciting opportunity to learn and travel at the same time. As a student, you can earn transferable college credit while living and experiencing a foreign culture.
We are here to assist you from the application process to departure. All programs have eligibility requirements and there are applications to complete. Those forms are available online under each program, from the International Education Office or the forms link.
