RM Migration and Dobson-Southern Expansion

MCC @ Red Mountain has just recently been completely migrated to VoIP. Over 300 Cisco 7960 phones have been deployed to date. The last remaining hurdle in the migration was that of analog services, such as FAX machines, POS machines, and emergency call boxes. That hurdle was jumped with the addition of a Cisco VoIP analog gateway device called a VG248. This allowed us to convert all those analog devices to VoIP devices.

This migration also allowed for the removal of an aging NEC 2000 PBX system, thus saving thousands of dollars in operational costs. This migration has also set the course for the complete migration to VoIP services for the Dobson and Southern campus. This migrationis actually under way , with over 150 phones in place already.
