Policies for Ordering Print Materials

Requests for purchase of books to be maintained in the MCC Library can be requested in different ways:

submit the request via inter campus mail or telephone to the Technical Services supervisor

submit the request to the appropriate library liaison

complete the Internet Library Materials Order Form

Items must be prioritized prior to submission if more than two titles are requested. The library will make every effort to purchase all faculty requested materials. If it is not possible to purchase every title requested or if there is a problem the requester will be notified. The purchase of any requested title will be considered in accordance with the MCC Collection Development Policy and the availability of funding.
