The Piano Man Meets Captain Squeegee: Concerts in Support of the New Performing Arts Center for MCC at Mesa Arts Center
Mesa Community College’s Instrumental Music Department, TAD Management, and Captain Squeegee, are holding concerts at the Mesa Arts Center to support the New Performing Arts Center (PAC), currently under construction at MCC. Join us for a great night of music on March 23 with host Cory McCloskey from Fox 10.
The evening of incredible music begins with one of two shows at 6 pm. The first show, The Piano Man, Celebrating the Music of Billy Joel and Elton John, will include friends of the MCC Orchestra and Winds. There will also be a VIP reception between shows on the third floor of the Mesa Arts Center for VIP ticket buyers.
The second show begins at 9:30 pm (separate ticketing) and features one of Arizona’s favorites, Captain Squeegee, with members of the MCC concert and jazz bands. Captain Squeegee and The Piano Man will be performing with a multimedia art & light display. Shows are ticketed separately and tickets for both shows are available at http://mccpac.eventbrite.com/.
The shows will feature some of the area's most prominent professional musicians and leaders, under the direction of TAD Management’s Terry Davies and Captain Squeegee’s leader Danny Torgeresen. Guests can enjoy wonderful performances as well as updates on the New MCC PAC and more.
The event takes place at the Mesa Arts Center, One East Main Street in Mesa on Saturday, March 23. The first concert begins at 6 pm and the reception follows for VIP’s. The second concert begins at 9:30 p.m. Tickets for the Piano Man Concert are $25 and tickets for the Captain Squeegee Concert are $15. Ticket Prices are $5 higher when purchased at the door.
