The administrative leadership of 19 public educational institutions from elementary and unified school districts to community colleges and universities comprise the East Valley Think Tank. The Think Tank provides a forum to grow new ideas for educational collaboration that will help transition our educational community into the 21st century.

The vision guiding our consortium, is that of a pipeline - a conduit for students to pass through in the course of their educational lives. This pipeline also symbolizes the collaborative nature of our vision for the East Valley student of all ages.

Our mission is to create world-class education for our students. To achieve this, we have adopted goals to enhance all educational levels, K-Ph.D.; developed an advocacy network for education in our region; collaborated on projects of mutual interest; and communicated and shared resources.

Among our collaborative projects are: school to work; foreign language; instruction; dropout prevention; teacher education; early brain development and its impact on educational policies; regional economic development; and service learning across all member institutions.
