Preston is an experienced international project manager and faculty member at MCC. As the Program Director for all business programs, he oversees faculty and course content in the Project Management program.

Randy Bulriss, BS in Ind. Eng., MSE, PMP

Randy Bulriss is APICS Certified in

Production and Inventory Management and a PMP Project

Management Professional since 2002.  Randy has had 22

years work experience with Intel Corporation with

expertise in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing,

Production and Inventory Management, Marketing, and

Program/Project Management. 

He also has 16 years of adjunct faculty experience with

Mesa Community College in the business department. 

His primary focus in his teaching has been in on

Quantitative Business Methods, Business Statistics, and

the entire Project Management course sequence.

Leslie Barker,

Leslie Barker has been employed at Intel for almost 20 years performing in positions that include: Business Operations Manager, Global College Program Manager, Freight Payment/Controls Project Manager, e-workforce Program Manager, and Long Range Planning Tool Program Manager. In her positions she has been responsible for all facets of project management, including: exploration, planning, development, deployment, closure, use of project scheduling tools, effective resource management, communication, business transformation, risk management, and contingency planning. In addition to being a certified PMP, she holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Materials Management from Arizona State University.

Peggy Sinness joined the Apollo Group (parent company for the University of Phoenix) in 1998 as the Y2K Project Manager.  Over the next 9 years, she performed various roles within the company and served as Director of Software Development as well as Learning Officer for the Apollo Corporate University. The Apollo Corporate University provides soft skills, leadership, technical and project management training to their 14,000+ employees.

Katie is an experienced project manager and has several years experience teaching the introductory course in Project Management at MCC.

Derek Rushing, MA in Ed., BS in IT, PMP

Derek Rushing has had 25 years in Information Technology as a Process Engineer, Software Test Engineer, Project Manager, Project Executive, Program Director, Software Consultant, Design Consultant and Project Consultant.
He has managed personnel and projects with the Amdahl/Fujitsu Corporation, serving clients such as American Express, Boeing, Allied Signal, Charles Schwab, Avnet, TRW, the University of Southern California, Stanford University, Arizona Department of Transportation, the City of Los Angeles, Wells Fargo Bank, Arizona Department of Revenue, Isuzu America, Pima County Recorder and Bank of America. He has served as Chief Information Officer for the Arizona Department of Transportation where his responsibilities included defining, implementing and supporting strategic IT initiatives.
Currently, Derek is a full-time Professor at Mesa Community College (MCC).
